Spectators: 7458 (Terracing: 5594, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) Nils Liedholm IF's John Apelkvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonardo Romani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Apelkvist went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ove Hake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pello Cameno in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Josu Pabon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's supporters rose to their feet, but Josu Pabon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ove Hake breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John Apelkvist during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. John Apelkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Nils Liedholm IF's Leonardo Romani threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kalle Norström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 21 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goal looked a bit too open when Kalle Norström came free, but Leonardo Romani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Club Deportivo O IRIXO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Gil to maneuver through the defense. Pello Cameno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes Nils Liedholm IF got a freekick which was hit by Edvin Bergkvist. In the 36th minute, Kalle Norström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Andrei Gil came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Club Deportivo O IRIXO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrei Gil couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute of the match Antonio Recio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ove Hake showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ove Hake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

51 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goal looked a bit too open when John Apelkvist came free, but Leonardo Romani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, John Apelkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josu Pabon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ove Hake read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. When Antonio Recio fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo O IRIXO's protests and gave Antonio Recio a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Club Deportivo O IRIXO got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Recio. Ove Hake made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pello Cameno in the 76th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Josu Pabon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josu Pabon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Andrei Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nils Liedholm IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Andrei Gil 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pello Cameno got free with Ove Hake in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Birger Kleen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Birger Kleen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute John Apelkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Romani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nils Liedholm IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Deportivo O IRIXO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
