Urutu F.C.'s Iustinian Sabău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Teixeira in the 34th minute of play. Iustinian Sabău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandinho Albuquerque in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Custódio Lima Clemente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Custódio Lima Clemente got free with Marcelinho Abraão in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iustinian Sabău came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Karaboudjan's Luizão Peixoto. Iustinian Sabău didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernandinho Albuquerque went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Marcelinho Abraão made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Custódio Lima Clemente sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Bezerra in the 67th minute of play forced Urutu F.C.'s goalkeeper Iustinian Sabău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustinian Sabău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelinho Abraão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Custódio Lima Clemente in the 77th minute. Yuri Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Darso Halim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Urutu F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Albuquerque came free, but Iustinian Sabău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urutu F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
