Marcelinho Abraão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo Iturri went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Karaboudjan defense, Anselmo Iturri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelinho Abraão. The Karaboudjan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelinho Abraão should have stopped the shot. Marcelinho Abraão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Iturri's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Anselmo Iturri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelinho Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Anselmo Iturri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Marcelinho Abraão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cirilo Frederico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Kiev FC got a corner. Karaboudjan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonio Mutafchiev ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Alvaro Gartxot almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Karaboudjan's Marcelinho Abraão did a great save. Karaboudjan's Marcelinho Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Iturri in the 34th minute of play. Wilson Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Rafael Godoi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kiev FC's Antonio Mutafchiev quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The crowd rose to their feet as Anselmo Iturri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelinho Abraão. That made the score 4-0 in the 38 minute of play. Benny Stahlschmidt hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Felippe Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felippe Monteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Karaboudjan getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Felippe Monteiro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kiev FC's zone, Aírton Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cirilo Frederico came out of the goal and Aírton Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Iturri to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Cirilo Frederico successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Kiev FC's Anselmo Iturri in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karaboudjan's goalie prevented a goal. Kiev FC's Cirilo Frederico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Kiev FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Karaboudjan's Rafael Godoi got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Anselmo Iturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Iturri might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelinho Abraão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Iturri ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelinho Abraão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Iturri's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Anselmo Iturri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelinho Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Iturri in the 80th minute of play forced Karaboudjan's goalkeeper Marcelinho Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Iturri struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Marcelinho Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kiev FC. Kiev FC made a substitution. Rodolfo Burni replaced Alvaro Gartxot. Kiev FC made a substitution. Erubiel Ramond replaced Anselmo Iturri. Marcelinho Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Ramond in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Karaboudjan getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rafael Godoi hit a great ball. Marcelinho Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Ramond in the 88th minute of play. Marcelinho Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Ramond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wanderson Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Felippe Monteiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cirilo Frederico. Kiev FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Many of Karaboudjan's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Karaboudjan may have spent more time on the ball, but Kiev FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
