Claudio Aznar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrei Gil made a kick off. Dre Schipmans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Claudio Aznar made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Dre Schipmans put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Claudio Aznar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhuo Yin Hong in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Aznar saved Club Deportivo O IRIXO from getting behind. Claudio Aznar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhuo Yin Hong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute of the match Antonio Recio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Gröhe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Claudio Aznar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuo Yin Hong in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhuo Yin Hong in the 87th minute of play forced Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Claudio Aznar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Sport Club Mavericks players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
