A collision led to Sport Club Mavericks getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Zézinho Lopez hit a great ball. After 3 played minutes, Nils Liedholm IF's Karl-Oskar Fridlund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nils Liedholm IF reached it. Dre Schipmans in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ove Hake, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 6 minutes into the match, Nils Liedholm IF's goalkeeper Ove Hake had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dre Schipmans. When Dre Schipmans came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Sport Club Mavericks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dre Schipmans couldn't finish the play. After 12 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Sanches. In the 16th minute, Dre Schipmans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ove Hake was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 19th minute, Zézinho Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Nils Liedholm IF from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Nils Liedholm IF's Karl-Oskar Fridlund got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Ove Hake was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Dre Schipmans capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dre Schipmans really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Sport Club Mavericks's Zézinho Lopez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ove Hake. That made the score 3-0 after 28 minutes of play. In the 33rd minute, Sport Club Mavericks's Dre Schipmans ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ove Hake. Ove Hake yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. In the 36th minute, Harry Wennerquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Sport Club Mavericks's Sílvio Luiz de Godoi tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Kleen, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Ove Hake came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Mavericks's Dre Schipmans. But to his dismay, Dre Schipmans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When Sport Club Mavericks's Dre Schipmans in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nils Liedholm IF's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zézinho Lopez to strike the kick off in the second half. Sport Club Mavericks's attentive Fernando Lucas managed to snatch the ball when Karl-Oskar Fridlund made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Karl-Oskar Fridlund with Birger Kleen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sport Club Mavericks's Fernando Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ove Hake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dre Schipmans in the 56th minute of the match. Sport Club Mavericks's Bater Noppe was substituted for Conrado Sanches. In the 60th minute Sport Club Mavericks were awarded a corner. Sílvio Luiz de Godoi went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Marcos Almeida managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Zhuo Yin Hong scored 6-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Hake, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Nils Liedholm IF defense, Zhuo Yin Hong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ove Hake. The Nils Liedholm IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ove Hake should have stopped the shot. When Zézinho Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Sport Club Mavericks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zézinho Lopez couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, Sport Club Mavericks's Zhuo Yin Hong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ove Hake made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Ove Hake didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredão Paiva went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 89thth minute of the game Zhuo Yin Hong who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Nils Liedholm IF's Jörgen Rang got a free kick in the 91st minute. Ove Hake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuo Yin Hong in the 96th minute of the match. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
