The Bassa Valle FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Mazzocco should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute Jimmy Hjälm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Mazzocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The coaching staff of Bassa Valle FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carlo Iacovacci had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Porjus. Thomas Sundling stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eugenio Mazzocco. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimmy Hjälm was the one to do the kick off. Thomas Sundling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Mazzocco having to interfere. Eugenio Mazzocco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jimmy Hjälm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Mazzocco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Porjus got a freekick which was hit by Gianni Giammarino. Porjus made a substitution. Felix Söderman replaced Mats Möllgren. Bassa Valle FC's Andrea Lio was substituted for Arrigo Alonzi. The supporters of Bassa Valle FC booed when Porjus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Söderman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Orlando Pena made a great header on Porjus's corner, it was just that Bassa Valle FC's Eugenio Mazzocco managed to reach the ball for a save. With his leg Eugenio Mazzocco managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Porjus's Thomas Sundling fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 97 minutes of play, Porjus's Elliott Falcão made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Mazzocco was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Bassa Valle FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Porjus were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
