The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, SSV Ulm 1846's Don Merlot made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Monschke in the 12th minute of play forced Little Big's goalkeeper August Skog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute SSV Ulm 1846 were awarded a corner. Sven-Olof Lilja went to the cornerflag to take it. SSV Ulm 1846's Albrecht Bosbach was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but August Skog in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. SSV Ulm 1846's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sven-Olof Lilja in the 15th minute. Niclas Monschke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but August Skog made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Stor in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kryspin Cupial prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, SSV Ulm 1846's Albrecht Bosbach got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 29th minute Niclas Monschke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Skog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Little Big's Egil Wennersten to fire away a dangerous shot which Kryspin Cupial despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Egil Wennersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute of the match, Don Merlot got a very nice opportunity to score, but August Skog was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Don Merlot to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute André Stor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Cupial saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niclas Monschke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Skog having to interfere. A collision led to Little Big getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. August Skog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Monschke, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. August Skog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niclas Monschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on SSV Ulm 1846's corner Sven-Olof Lilja fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and August Skog quite easily take care of the ball. Kryspin Cupial came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Little Big's Egil Wennersten. But to his dismay, Egil Wennersten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 84 minutes into the game, Greger Lövskog threw the ball into play from the sideline. SSV Ulm 1846's Jose Ramon Talcao quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Greger Lövskog in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SSV Ulm 1846's Jose Ramon Talcao. In the 89th minute Niclas Monschke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Skog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, SSV Ulm 1846's Niclas Monschke made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. August Skog was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Niclas Monschke made a precise shot to the right of August Skog. Little Big's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Kryspin Cupial successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Little Big players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SSV Ulm 1846.
