Vratislav Koželuh was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Kopeto's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Codrin Dobrea in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Milan Krása prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Kulp's zone, Chu Guang Guo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Besim Orgen came out of the goal and Chu Guang Guo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Besim Orgen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Qing Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When Ahmet Energin fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kulp's protests and gave Ahmet Energin a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had been going on for 43 minutes, FC Kopeto's Cai Qing Yuan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Besim Orgen.

FC Kopeto made a substitution. Přemysl Pavka replaced Karel Hanousek. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Codrin Dobrea made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Codrin Dobrea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Milan Krása was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Radomil Soliwoda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cai Qing Yuan might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Besim Orgen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
