With a little luck, Psiu!'s José Munhoz got control of the ball when Renato Tapia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Remo Trigo in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Real Club Celta de Vigo's Rubén Blanco. A sloppy throw-in by Valério Alves in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Real Club Celta de Vigo's Everardo Arias. Renato Tapia struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. José Munhoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Club Celta de Vigo. 51 minutes into the match, Psiu!'s goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Marin came free, but José Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Psiu!'s José Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Tapia in the 52nd minute of play. José Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Tapia in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Renato Tapia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Munhoz. Psiu!'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renato Tapia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Renato Tapia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. José Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Tapia in the 67th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Renato Tapia made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Munhoz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Renato Tapia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. José Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Unai Nuñez was substituted for Cordera Unzueta. In the 78th minute, Everardo Arias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Munhoz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After some careless play in the Real Club Celta de Vigo defense, Jerônimo Dantas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pepe Toxeiro. The Real Club Celta de Vigo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pepe Toxeiro should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Psiu!'s goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Arias came free, but José Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Psiu!'s Jerônimo Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Everardo Arias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Munhoz. Psiu!'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Everardo Arias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. The Real Club Celta de Vigo support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
