Rowan Busby kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Hector Levi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maxim Gogea struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Sly Collier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Nerysminne. Silvester Odell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betinho Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvester Odell in the 19th minute of the match. Stickleback Utd Xl's Sly Collier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Gogea in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match BK Nerysminne got a corner. Stickleback Utd Xl's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hector Levi ran over to the corner to take the kick. BK Nerysminne's Betinho Arantes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save BK Nerysminne from getting a goal against them. Sly Collier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Gogea, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Betinho Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephen Clapham in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Wilson Piazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stephen Clapham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betinho Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvester Odell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nisse Pe hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Kees Zeydeveld took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Betinho Arantes. BK Nerysminne's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stephen Clapham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maxim Gogea made a kick off. In the 56th match minute, Stickleback Utd Xl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cliff Flower to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the game, Maxim Gogea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sly Collier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 63 minutes into the match, Stephen Clapham notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of BK Nerysminne's Betinho Arantes. Betinho Arantes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silvester Odell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Betinho Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to BK Nerysminne getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Bratan Shebov hit a great ball. BK Nerysminne's Betinho Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kees Zeydeveld in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Gogea in the 78th minute of play forced Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper Sly Collier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Silvester Odell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Betinho Arantes. BK Nerysminne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvester Odell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Maxim Gogea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Sly Collier made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Stephen Clapham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stickleback Utd Xl's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
