The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gilberto da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Cristian Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Cristoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Manole Cristoiu scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute Luiz Paulo de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artzai Tarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Luiz Paulo de Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artzai Tarin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The corner ended in Gungun Karo-karo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Triforce Super Soccer's Cristian Salles did a great save. Triforce Super Soccer's Cristian Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Cristoiu in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Manole Cristoiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Triforce Super Soccer's Cristian Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Luiz Paulo de Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orgullo's Artzai Tarin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Triforce Super Soccer fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Triforce Super Soccer's Luiz Paulo de Lima looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manole Cristoiu in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Salles saved Triforce Super Soccer from getting behind. Orgullo were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Triforce Super Soccer's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yan Chuan Yang took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Manole Cristoiu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manole Cristoiu in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Luiz Paulo de Lima struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Artzai Tarin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Triforce Super Soccer. After having played for 55 minutes, Duarte Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Triforce Super Soccer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duarte Trevisan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 58 played minutes Triforce Super Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Calçada. Cristian Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yan Chuan Yang in the 59th minute. Cristian Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Cristoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orgullo's Araoz Vallejo was substituted for Mario Zapatero. Orgullo made a substitution. Aimar Barro replaced Manole Cristoiu. Aimar Barro took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Salles. Cristian Salles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Artzai Tarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 79 minutes into the game, when D.J. Banan put in a rough tackle. Triforce Super Soccer's Cafu Paraíba was substituted for Eduard Kovalchuk. In the 78th minute, one of Orgullo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Orgullo. The referee gave Triforce Super Soccer a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aldo Calçada, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Orgullo's Artzai Tarin. 3-2. Orgullo's Artzai Tarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Triforce Super Soccer's Aldo Calçada got a free kick in the 97th minute. Triforce Super Soccer's Cristian Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Triforce Super Soccer from getting a goal against them. Triforce Super Soccer were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
