After a defensive mix-up in FC Talanglös's zone, Stephen Clapham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Kopp came out of the goal and Stephen Clapham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Stickleback Utd Xl's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Öman came free, but Sly Collier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Stephen Clapham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stickleback Utd Xl fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Stickleback Utd Xl players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
