Cosme Fernendo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Thomas's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvestre Laurgain during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Silvestre Laurgain hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Isidoro Thomas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River's Cosme Fernendo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Antonio Parra struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Cosme Fernendo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sheep United. The audience was convinced that Isidoro Thomas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Fernendo was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Erik Lund made the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Erik Lund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, River's Silvestre Laurgain got a free kick in the 68th minute. José Antonio Parra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erik Lund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damiano Melfi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. When Nereo Argina fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River's protests and gave Nereo Argina a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for River! River:s Cosme Fernendo showed great skill when he stopped Gerrie Bot:s penalty. After 80 minutes of play, Sheep United's Gerrie Bot made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosme Fernendo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 84 in the game by Isidoro Thomas from a close distance when the talented Cosme Fernendo managed to make a qualified save. River's players were relieved. When Isidoro Thomas came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Sheep United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Thomas couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, River's Cosme Fernendo got control of the ball when Isidoro Thomas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cosme Fernendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Antonio Parra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sheep United played a much better game than River and deserved their victory. The River players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
