In the 5th minute Berker Sani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 史默晨 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 史默晨 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Berker Sani notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FCSB CUENCA's 史默晨. 史默晨 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th match minute, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Christobal to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Damião came free, but Aguirre Verde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Francisco Sanches could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Aguirre Verde made a huge save. 史默晨 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. FCSB CUENCA's 史默晨 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Christobal in the 35th minute of play. Aguirre Verde made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when João Francisco Sanches sent off a good shot on target. 史默晨 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Damião got free with Aguirre Verde in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kuzey Sebat's late challenge caught a FCSB CUENCA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kuzey Sebat helped the player get up and apologised.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Douglas Damião to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes FCSB CUENCA got a freekick which was hit by Lucila Gimeno. Kuzey Sebat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 52nd minute, Borys Jarocewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kuzey Sebat took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 史默晨. FCSB CUENCA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Damião came free, but Aguirre Verde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Christobal kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but 史默晨 made a huge save. 史默晨 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berker Sani in the 65th minute of the match. 史默晨 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berker Sani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco got free with 史默晨 in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th match minute, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Messias to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FCSB CUENCA's 史默晨 got control of the ball when Berker Sani tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Jürgen Fahlgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 史默晨 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Berker Sani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 史默晨 having to interfere. After 93 minutes of play, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 史默晨 was left in no man's land by his defense there!
