The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Damiano Melfi came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gianluca Scamacca. But to his dismay, Gianluca Scamacca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gustaw Fafinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sheldon Cooper, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Thomas in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaw Fafinski saved KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A from getting behind. After 12 minutes, Isidoro Thomas made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gustaw Fafinski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Thomas in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaw Fafinski saved KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A from getting behind. Damiano Melfi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gianluca Scamacca in the 23rd minute. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gustaw Fafinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sheldon Cooper in the 25th minute of play. Sheep United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gerrie Bot in the 26th minute. The corner ended in Gerrie Bot almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gustaw Fafinski did a great save. When Sheep United's Isidoro Thomas in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Isidoro Thomas put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gustaw Fafinski. In the 34th minute, Gianluca Scamacca made a precise shot to the right of Damiano Melfi. Sheep United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gerrie Bot was slow to take the kick. During this time Sheep United's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gerrie Bot almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gustaw Fafinski did a great save. In the 48th minute, Sheep United's Pim Fortuin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pim Fortuin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sheep United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pim Fortuin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 47 minutes into the game, one of Sheep United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 50 minutes, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Teodoro Domeka got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Damiano Melfi.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gianluca Scamacca was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Gianluca Scamacca put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Damiano Melfi. Damiano Melfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Scamacca in the 65th minute of play. Sheep United were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gerrie Bot took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Gerrie Bot got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustaw Fafinski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Damiano Melfi came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Stig Rødal. But to his dismay, Stig Rødal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. With a little luck, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gustaw Fafinski got control of the ball when Sheldon Cooper tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute Gianluca Scamacca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Melfi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A made a substitution. Flávio Paixão replaced Marco Paixão. The crowd rose to their feet as Sheep United's Isidoro Thomas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustaw Fafinski. That made the score 5-4 after 89 minutes of play. Gustaw Fafinski made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Isidoro Thomas sent off a good shot on target. Sheep United were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gerrie Bot took the corner. Gerrie Bot made a great header on Sheep United's corner, it was just that KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gustaw Fafinski managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidoro Thomas in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustaw Fafinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidoro Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sheep United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
