GUAYACO were awarded a corner. Betão Ramos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Betão Ramos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bolivar's Afiz Ching did a great save. 11 minutes into the match, Bolivar's goal looked a bit too open when Caicedo Berrondo came free, but Afiz Ching reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Caicedo Berrondo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afiz Ching was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Afiz Ching showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caicedo Berrondo in the 13th minute of the match. Afiz Ching came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. GUAYACO's Caicedo Berrondo. But to his dismay, Caicedo Berrondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Caicedo Berrondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afiz Ching read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Oso Amezaga made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Tedj Sellal sent off a good shot on target. Esteban Calderero made in the 23rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Senijad Ibričić immediately put the ball in play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brett Cordrey in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oso Amezaga saved C.A. GUAYACO from getting behind. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Brett Cordrey sped through C.A. GUAYACO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oso Amezaga. Oso Amezaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brett Cordrey in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Senijad Ibričić in the 31st minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes C.A. GUAYACO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hemza Aliche who took care of the corner kick. A hard shot 37 in the game by Brett Cordrey from a close distance when the talented Oso Amezaga managed to make a qualified save. C.A. GUAYACO's players were relieved. When Bolivar's Brett Cordrey in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. GUAYACO's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brett Cordrey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Agustin Pillado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Afiz Ching tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brett Cordrey in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oso Amezaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patrik Stöckert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oso Amezaga having to interfere. After 58 played minutes C.A. GUAYACO got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Pillado. If Senijad Ibričić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caicedo Berrondo got free with Afiz Ching in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Betão Ramos got a free kick in the 62nd minute. C.A. GUAYACO's Mendoza Joseph was substituted for Caicedo Berrondo. C.A. GUAYACO made a substitution. Gutierrez Castorena replaced Jorge Freitas. Caicedo Berrondo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Brett Cordrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Augusto Obarenes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. GUAYACO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolivar the free kick. Oso Amezaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brett Cordrey in the 88th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes C.A. GUAYACO got a freekick which was hit by Gutierrez Castorena. In the 94th match minute, C.A. GUAYACO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mendoza Joseph to maneuver through the defense.
