Henry Dalström scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oso Amezaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Khamzat Chimaev's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Oso Amezaga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. GUAYACO from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute Henry Dalström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oso Amezaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oso Amezaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khamzat Chimaev in the 17th minute of play. Adolfo Horne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Herzog having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tunge Titans's Sakis Kerkopoulos got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 36th minute Leonides Cueto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Herzog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes, Cristian Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tunge Titans and the C.A. GUAYACO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tunge Titans's Cristian Salles got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Agustin Pillado managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. GUAYACO's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Pillado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willy Herzog breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henry Dalström took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oso Amezaga. Oso Amezaga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Dalström made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Dalström during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 58 minutes into the match, Tunge Titans's goalkeeper Willy Herzog had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caicedo Berrondo. Augusto Obarenes charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Obarenes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Augusto Obarenes hit a great ball. C.A. GUAYACO's Mendoza Joseph was substituted for Caicedo Berrondo. 68 minutes into the match, Tunge Titans's goalkeeper Willy Herzog had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustin Pillado. In the 72nd minute Henry Dalström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oso Amezaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khamzat Chimaev in the 84th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tunge Titans's Richard Olofsson was substituted for Stellan Lund. C.A. GUAYACO's Gutierrez Castorena was substituted for Jorge Freitas. With a little luck, Tunge Titans's Willy Herzog got control of the ball when Mendoza Joseph tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tunge Titans fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.A. GUAYACO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
