Spectators: 7444 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rafael Jorrin started the match with the kick off. Eloy Romano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caicedo Berrondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FIORITO CITY's Eloy Romano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caicedo Berrondo in the 4th minute of play. In the 8thth minute of the game Caicedo Berrondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FIORITO CITY's Eloy Romano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th match minute, FIORITO CITY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Jakobe to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute Adolfo Horne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Romano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Adolfo Horne made a precise shot to the right of Eloy Romano. FIORITO CITY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Caicedo Berrondo got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Jorrin in the 20th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Erwin Pellicer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Caicedo Berrondo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FIORITO CITY's Eloy Romano. Eloy Romano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Leonides Oliviero fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FIORITO CITY's protests and gave Leonides Oliviero a yellow card for diving instead. Leonides Oliviero hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FIORITO CITY defense, Caicedo Berrondo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloy Romano. The FIORITO CITY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Romano should have stopped the shot. After 34 minutes, Cornelio Raitin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FIORITO CITY and the C.A. GUAYACO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Cornelio Raitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Hieronim Faron got a free kick in the 37th minute. Aurelio Sarracino hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the match Augusto Obarenes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eloy Romano skillfully saved the ball. Erwin Pellicer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Sarracino, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Jorrin in the 46th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Erwin Pellicer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes C.A. GUAYACO got a freekick which was hit by Caicedo Berrondo. After the first half C.A. GUAYACO were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caicedo Berrondo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Betão Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Betão Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Betão Ramos hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the match, FIORITO CITY's Aurelio Sarracino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erwin Pellicer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caicedo Berrondo in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Romano saved FIORITO CITY from getting behind. GUAYACO's Mendoza Joseph was substituted for Caicedo Berrondo. Mendoza Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Romano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Hieronim Faron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Jorrin came free, but Erwin Pellicer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mendoza Joseph's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Eloy Romano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Joao Hincapié hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Eloy Romano came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. GUAYACO's Mendoza Joseph. But to his dismay, Mendoza Joseph quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.A. GUAYACO eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
