Erwin Pellicer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anier Cibran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Rafael Jorrin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of C.A. GUAYACO booed when FIORITO CITY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Raitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Horne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Eloy Romano made a huge save. Sérgio Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eloy Romano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caicedo Berrondo in the 40th minute of the match. Caicedo Berrondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Eloy Romano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, FIORITO CITY's Eloy Romano got control of the ball when Adolfo Horne tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, FIORITO CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Caicedo Berrondo came free, but Eloy Romano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Caicedo Berrondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Romano having to interfere.
