The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. BSC Thunder Arvutitark's Gia Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akakios Kioubouroglou in the 3rd minute of play. In the 3rd match minute, BSC Thunder Arvutitark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalju Edasi to maneuver through the defense. Gia Buffon came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Arenillas's Akakios Kioubouroglou. But to his dismay, Akakios Kioubouroglou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Chiquinho Palmeira took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gia Buffon. Gia Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Pearu Maripuu fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BSC Thunder Arvutitark's protests and gave Pearu Maripuu a yellow card for diving instead. Pearu Maripuu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Atlético Arenillas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Violet Brúnchev in the 13th minute. A nice corner shot did that Violet Brúnchev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gia Buffon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Uuno Põlluste's late challenge caught a Atlético Arenillas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uuno Põlluste helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Uuno Põlluste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes, Atlético Arenillas's Violet Brúnchev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gia Buffon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Arenillas reached it. Gia Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, BSC Thunder Arvutitark's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Palmeira came free, but Gia Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Chiquinho Palmeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Arenillas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Kalju Edasi's late challenge caught a Atlético Arenillas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kalju Edasi helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes BSC Thunder Arvutitark got a freekick which was hit by Kalju Edasi. 24 minutes into the game, Atlético Arenillas's Chiquinho Palmeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gia Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After 27 played minutes BSC Thunder Arvutitark got a freekick which was hit by Volli Aare. Gia Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akakios Kioubouroglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Chiquinho Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filiberto Merexildo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atlético Arenillas getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Filiberto Merexildo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akakios Kioubouroglou in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gia Buffon saved BSC Thunder Arvutitark from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Akakios Kioubouroglou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gia Buffon was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akakios Kioubouroglou in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gia Buffon saved BSC Thunder Arvutitark from getting behind. After taking down the ball on Atlético Arenillas's corner Akakios Kioubouroglou fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gia Buffon quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho Palmeira in the 37th minute of play forced BSC Thunder Arvutitark's goalkeeper Gia Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Uuno Põlluste shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Cubria showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Akakios Kioubouroglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gia Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Atlético Arenillas were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chiquinho Palmeira was the one to do the kick off. Chiquinho Palmeira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Gia Buffon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 54th minute of the match Atlético Arenillas got a corner. BSC Thunder Arvutitark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Violet Brúnchev ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Violet Brúnchev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gia Buffon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 55thth minute of the game Akakios Kioubouroglou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BSC Thunder Arvutitark's Gia Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gia Buffon had great luck who in the 56thth minute grab hold of the ball when Chiquinho Palmeira from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Atlético Arenillas's Chiquinho Palmeira in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BSC Thunder Arvutitark's goalie prevented a goal. During the 57th minute of the match Kalju Edasi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kalju Edasi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 58th match minute, BSC Thunder Arvutitark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalju Edasi to maneuver through the defense. Atlético Arenillas made a substitution. Warner Anaya replaced Octavio Herrera. The supporters of Atlético Arenillas booed when BSC Thunder Arvutitark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalju Edasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gia Buffon was a little too slow when Akakios Kioubouroglou got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-5. Chiquinho Palmeira scored 0-6 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gia Buffon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atlético Arenillas were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after BSC Thunder Arvutitark's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Violet Brúnchev took the corner. After taking down the ball on Atlético Arenillas's corner González Tabernilla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gia Buffon quite easily take care of the ball. Jaagup Lasn kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Akakios Kioubouroglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gia Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Gia Buffon managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Atlético Arenillas's Akakios Kioubouroglou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frede Hesteng in the 86th minute of play forced BSC Thunder Arvutitark's goalkeeper Gia Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Atlético Arenillas's Akakios Kioubouroglou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
