Tirense F.C.'s Washington de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Gun in the 9th minute of play. Washington de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Gun, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Rafael Martxot charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Martxot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chanchos getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. The supporters of Tirense F.C. booed when Chanchos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Măgherușan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tirense F.C.'s Ruperto Naike got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Tirense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Mascitti came free, but Washington de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chanchos's Simon Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Maraschin in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the Tirense F.C. defense, Rafael Martxot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Washington de Lara. The Tirense F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Washington de Lara should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Maraschin to make the kick off. If Rafael Martxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 曾辉宁 hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Alain Ramsey scored 2-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Washington de Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Maraschin in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Ribeiro saved Chanchos from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Chanchos's Washington de Lara threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Concetto Mascitti, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Chanchos's Ciro Eladio was substituted for Rafael Martxot. The supporters of Chanchos booed when Tirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Pero didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Tirense F.C.'s Washington de Lara got control of the ball when Tommy Gun tried to sneak it across the goal line.
