Cayetano Rito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lun Luna went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Enrique Falcão took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enzo Shantala. Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Astor Barbosa hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Ruy Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Enzo Shantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dieguinho Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enzo Shantala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dieguinho Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. Dieguinho Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Shantala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Sol. In the 30th minute, Sérgio Gonçalves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enzo Shantala was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Lun Luna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Rito. Paulopolis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lun Luna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 39 minutes into the game, Paulopolis's Dieguinho Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Shantala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Paulopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Smitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's Lun Luna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cayetano Rito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enzo Shantala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieguinho Amaral in the 47th minute of the match.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Astor Barbosa to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Astor Barbosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cayetano Rito was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Enzo Shantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulopolis were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Howling Dawn U18's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cícero Reis took the corner. Howling Dawn U18's Enzo Shantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguinho Amaral in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Paulopolis's Dieguinho Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 82nd minute, George Smitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sérgio Gonçalves hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Baldomiro Jerrald came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Howling Dawn U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Jerrald couldn't finish the play. Dieguinho Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 89 minutes, Dieguinho Amaral made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Howling Dawn U18's Enzo Shantala tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Paulopolis's Dieguinho Amaral got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Baldomiro Jerrald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Paulopolis's protests and gave Sérgio Gonçalves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Sérgio Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th match minute, Paulopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Falcão to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Paulopolis left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Howling Dawn U18.
