Red Bulls's Froilan Maura was substituted for Yosif Bakrachev. Red Bulls's Tadeusz Tychy was substituted for Asko Kukkamäki. After a rather tough play, VN FC Spartak-Varna's Yancho Motev got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 72 played minutes VN FC Spartak-Varna got a freekick which was hit by Zbigniew Paraszczuk. After recieving a nice pass, Red Bulls's Walery Chojnacki tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 75 minutes of play, Red Bulls's Iustin Coporan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hans Curtis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peter Boklund's late challenge caught a Red Bulls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Boklund helped the player get up and apologised. Red Bulls's Walery Chojnacki got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osmundo Verdaguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hans Curtis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Curtis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Coporan in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Froilan Maura notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of VN FC Spartak-Varna's Hans Curtis. Hans Curtis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. VN FC Spartak-Varna's Hans Curtis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Maura in the 93rd minute of play. Red Bulls were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of VN FC Spartak-Varna for a fine match.
