In the 16th minute Rigoberto Bastiaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Belém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivar Bjurström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Nakoneczny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivar Bjurström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Nakoneczny in the 30th minute of play. Rigoberto Bastiaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 33 played minutes ₳Ⱡ₳ł̇ɎɆ ₣₵ got a freekick which was hit by Derviş Akkan. Jacob Belém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 34th minute of play. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacindo Baezabal in the 36th minute. Rigoberto Bastiaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacob Belém having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Glorioso Deportivo Cali had played much better football throughout.
