A collision led to Katowice i Kluczbork getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Roland Laureys hit a great ball. In the 18th minute John Daly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Smolarek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Katowice i Kluczbork's Arkadiusz Smolarek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hampus Hammarström in the 23rd minute of play. Arkadiusz Smolarek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Kinell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Bastos in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Bastos in the 39th minute of play forced Nykvarn's goalkeeper Michel Kinell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelino Bastos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Katowice i Kluczbork's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Katowice i Kluczbork's Roland Laureys got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Nykvarn getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rudolf Wiklund hit a great ball. Adelino Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Kinell having to interfere.

Nykvarn's Michel Kinell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Bastos in the 54th minute of play. Rudolf Wiklund hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Katowice i Kluczbork's Bogdan Gabis was substituted for Juliusz Oryniak. After a rather tough play, Nykvarn's Rudolf Wiklund got a free kick in the 57th minute. Michel Kinell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Laureys, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Michel Kinell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Bastos in the 62nd minute of play. Adelino Bastos took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michel Kinell. Michel Kinell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Michel Kinell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Laureys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Adelino Bastos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Nykvarn's Rudolf Wiklund got a free kick in the 76th minute. Ryszard Murdza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Roland Laureys left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Katowice i Kluczbork fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Katowice i Kluczbork's Arkadiusz Smolarek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Daly in the 83rd minute of play. Michel Kinell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Laureys, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Katowice i Kluczbork got a corner. Nykvarn's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Julian Jaszcz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Julian Jaszcz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nykvarn's Michel Kinell did a great save. If Ryszard Murdza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 90 minutes into the match, Roland Laureys had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Kinell. Nykvarn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roland Laureys was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 94th minute, Ryszard Murdza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Kinell was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Katowice i Kluczbork fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nykvarn had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
