Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Caxinha F. C.'s Matías Tepedino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes Caxinha F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Mendiko. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Laureys in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvério Andrade saved Caxinha F. C. from getting behind. Caxinha F. C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Su Yao Xiang in the 12th minute. Arkadiusz Smolarek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Su Yao Xiang in the 15th minute of play. Silvério Andrade made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Roland Laureys sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 21 minutes, Su Yao Xiang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caxinha F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Su Yao Xiang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geovânio Proença struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Arkadiusz Smolarek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caxinha F. C.. Arkadiusz Smolarek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovânio Proença in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match, Roland Laureys got a very nice opportunity to score, but Silvério Andrade was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Katowice i Kluczbork's Julian Jaszcz got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arkadiusz Smolarek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Su Yao Xiang in the 39th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Caxinha F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Camargo.

The wind increased when Roland Laureys made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovânio Proença got free with Arkadiusz Smolarek in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Geovânio Proença could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Arkadiusz Smolarek however easily saved by the left post. Arkadiusz Smolarek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Geovânio Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Su Yao Xiang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Arkadiusz Smolarek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Katowice i Kluczbork got a freekick which was hit by Kaj Skytt. Roland Laureys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvério Andrade having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Stanislaw Wawrukiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Katowice i Kluczbork's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanislaw Wawrukiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvério Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Katowice i Kluczbork's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Smolarek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geovânio Proença. Geovânio Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Smolarek having to interfere. A collision led to Katowice i Kluczbork getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Artur Kasprzak hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Caxinha F. C.'s Arkadiusz Smolarek threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matías Tepedino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Caxinha F. C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Caxinha F. C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
