Nykvarn's Michel Kinell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Quirce in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Kaká Fenomeno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofilo Esdras. Cuervos Galácticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaká Fenomeno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 26 minutes into the game, Alfredo Quirce cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Michel Kinell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Melquiades Gar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Nykvarn booed when Cuervos Galácticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Ranolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Cuervos Galácticos's goal looked a bit too open when John Daly came free, but Teofilo Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nykvarn's Michel Kinell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Nykvarn from getting a goal against them. Michel Kinell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Quirce in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John Daly during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Michel Kinell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 43 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by Kalle Eklund. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Cuervos Galácticos's Gavino Guifre was substituted for Genaro Donzel. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Quirce to make the kick off. Michel Kinell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Quirce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Kaká Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Kinell having to interfere. A collision led to Cuervos Galácticos getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Eliseo Ariando hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Kaká Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by John Daly. Alfredo Quirce might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michel Kinell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Quirce ran back to his position shaking his head. If Alfredo Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Kinell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michel Kinell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Quirce in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Alfredo Quirce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Kinell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Kinell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Quirce's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Teofilo Esdras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Fenomeno in the 93rd minute of play. When Kaká Fenomeno fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nykvarn's protests and gave Kaká Fenomeno a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute, Kaká Fenomeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
