With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jos Van Hinnendael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Gil Talavera managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Blåvitt's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Talavera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jos Van Hinnendael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Talavera in the 11th minute of play forced Nagyváradi AC's goalkeeper Jos Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, FC Blåvitt's goalkeeper Jarl Bredberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ákos Szél. After some careless play in the FC Blåvitt defense, Jedrzej Kasprzak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarl Bredberg. The FC Blåvitt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarl Bredberg should have stopped the shot. Jedrzej Kasprzak scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarl Bredberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jedrzej Kasprzak might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jarl Bredberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jedrzej Kasprzak ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of FC Blåvitt booed when Nagyváradi AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hong Xing Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Folke Smitt hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jarl Bredberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Kasprzak, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Nagyváradi AC's Hao Chen Chang got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Nagyváradi AC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. György Miklós hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Jedrzej Kasprzak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarl Bredberg. FC Blåvitt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jedrzej Kasprzak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 39 minutes into the match, Nagyváradi AC's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Talavera came free, but Jos Van Hinnendael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Blåvitt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gil Talavera in the 42nd minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Jedrzej Kasprzak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nagyváradi AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jedrzej Kasprzak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gil Talavera made a kick off. The supporters of Nagyváradi AC booed when FC Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apoena Herrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarl Bredberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jedrzej Kasprzak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jos Van Hinnendael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Bâlea, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Nagyváradi AC's Jos Van Hinnendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apoena Herrero in the 59th minute of play.
