Florian Plouffe started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Kryspin Oryniak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tristan Arioli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mario gool's Leon Mosiniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Plouffe in the 7th minute of play. Leon Mosiniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raik Topuz in the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Kryspin Oryniak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mario gool fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Leon Mosiniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Steiner in the 19th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Bruno Steiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Mosiniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Mosiniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raik Topuz in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Olympique Fribourg were awarded a corner. Daniel Schroeder went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Schroeder almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mario gool's Leon Mosiniak did a great save. 28 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when Kryspin Oryniak came free, but Tristan Arioli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mykyta Yaremenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Arioli having to interfere. If Mykyta Yaremenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario gool's Leon Mosiniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Steiner in the 35th minute of play. Leon Mosiniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Steiner in the 37th minute of play. Bruno Steiner's late challenge caught a Mario gool's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Steiner helped the player get up and apologised. Bruno Steiner kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When Kryspin Oryniak fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mario gool's protests and gave Kryspin Oryniak a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mario gool getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Kryspin Oryniak hit a great ball. Florian Plouffe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tristan Arioli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kryspin Oryniak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Raik Topuz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mario gool's Leon Mosiniak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Tristan Arioli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Florian Plouffe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Leon Mosiniak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Fribourg's zone, Mykyta Yaremenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tristan Arioli came out of the goal and Mykyta Yaremenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario gool made a substitution. Zbyszko Kociniewski replaced Zenon Makomaski. With a little luck, Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli got control of the ball when Kryspin Oryniak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tristan Arioli was a little too slow when Kryspin Oryniak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-4. Mario gool made a substitution. Ulryk Biraga replaced Mykyta Yaremenko. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Plouffe in the 83rd minute of play forced Mario gool's goalkeeper Leon Mosiniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Olympique Fribourg from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Tristan Arioli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kryspin Oryniak. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mario gool eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
