After 6 minutes STARGATE TEAM Ruda Śląska's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Billy Backman who took care of the corner kick. After 6 played minutes GeRaÇãO-83 got a freekick which was hit by Jiang Xiang Sheng. In the 6th minute, GeRaÇãO-83's Jiang Xiang Sheng fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Gwidon Markowski was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Grzegorz Siekierski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Andrzejewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Linares came free, but Grzegorz Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When STARGATE TEAM Ruda Śląska's Silas Linares, in the 10th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Linares in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maksymilian Latocha got free with Grzegorz Siekierski in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Grzegorz Siekierski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silas Linares. GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save GeRaÇãO-83 from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Andrzejewski in the 44th minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Grzegorz Siekierski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute of the match GeRaÇãO-83 got a corner. STARGATE TEAM Ruda Śląska's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Billy Backman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edin Džeko was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silas Linares made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Edin Džeko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gwidon Markowski. STARGATE TEAM Ruda Śląska's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edin Džeko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 57 minutes into the match, STARGATE TEAM Ruda Śląska's goalkeeper Gwidon Markowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fabiano Duarte. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gwidon Markowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edin Džeko got free with Gwidon Markowski in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute GeRaÇãO-83 were awarded a corner. Billy Backman went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led GeRaÇãO-83's Billy Backman to fire away a dangerous shot which Gwidon Markowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gwidon Markowski made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Edin Džeko sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Billy Backman during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched GeRaÇãO-83 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
