Feliks Knopek was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Attila Mesterházy made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Kryspin Oryniak sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute, László Madaras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Máté Elek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With his leg Attila Mesterházy managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Mario gool's Kryspin Oryniak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 42nd minute of the game Zsombor Medve made a throw-in which Christian Kilstedt played forward. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Máté Elek kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Kryspin Oryniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Mesterházy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
