Máté Elek ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the ÇORUM FK defense, Máté Elek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Umut İnceman. The ÇORUM FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Umut İnceman should have stopped the shot. Fikri Sakman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Attila Mesterházy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. ÇORUM FK's Fikri Sakman got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC got a freekick which was hit by Máté Elek. After a rather tough play, ÇORUM FK's Samet Uraza got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute, László Madaras made a precise shot to the right of Umut İnceman. ÇORUM FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Mátyás Virág hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Umut İnceman didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's László Csank was substituted for Christian Kilstedt. Mustafa Cumhur Altun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Attila Mesterházy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Máté Elek fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's protests and gave Máté Elek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, László Csank left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 88th play minute László Csank came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Umut İnceman. 1-6.
