In the 84th match minute, Espirillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Lamberto to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Espirillo FC's Gregorio Hotz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claudio-Paul Taffarel. Claudio-Paul Taffarel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. Gregorio Hotz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Claudio-Paul Taffarel made a huge save. Fabinho Valladares's late challenge caught a Espirillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabinho Valladares helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Inter de Melão's Fabinho Valladares got a free kick in the 92nd minute. With a little luck, Inter de Melão's Claudio-Paul Taffarel got control of the ball when Cristo Elia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregorio Hotz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Claudio-Paul Taffarel made a huge save. Espirillo FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
