When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Amir Lee put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cholachat Coolcat. 19 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Amir Lee came free, but Cholachat Coolcat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Amir Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doug Las Casas in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Wilhelm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Amir Lee came free, but Cholachat Coolcat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pajala Sunrise's Stig Larsson got a free kick in the 29th minute. Cholachat Coolcat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldo Renteria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Lindman hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pajala Sunrise's zone, Amir Lee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cholachat Coolcat came out of the goal and Amir Lee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Pajala Sunrise's 王 江志锋 got a free kick in the 41st minute. When 王 江志锋 came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Pajala Sunrise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 王 江志锋 couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The supporters of Cascade Park West booed when Pajala Sunrise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Amir Lee dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cholachat Coolcat, 0-3. Waldo Renteria was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Pajala Sunrise's Cholachat Coolcat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Pajala Sunrise from getting a goal against them. Pajala Sunrise's Cholachat Coolcat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldo Renteria in the 61st minute of play. Cholachat Coolcat came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Cascade Park West's Claude Joyner. But to his dismay, Claude Joyner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 69 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Amir Lee came free, but Cholachat Coolcat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cholachat Coolcat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amir Lee's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Amir Lee sped through Pajala Sunrise's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cholachat Coolcat. In the 83rd minute, Roger Heggert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Wilhelm was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6.
