Ivan Chabanenko charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Chabanenko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Heiko Som showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 王 江志锋, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Ivan Chabanenko was shown his second yellow card after 13 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The wind increased when Ernest Kleinman made the kick off in the second half. After 92 minutes, Börje Axelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pajala Sunrise and the De Ontembare Leeuwen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Pajala Sunrise got a freekick which was hit by Börje Axelsson.
