Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) ZION's Albert Nae started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guaberto Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Vizitiu in the 5th minute of play. If Fernandão Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, ZION's Albert Nae ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guaberto Micael. Guaberto Micael yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 24th match minute, ZION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Bocșan to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Avram Vizitiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Micael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiberiu Unchiaşu made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Leandro Garzon. Club de la Serpiente's Guaberto Micael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Han Lin Zhen in the 41st minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roy De Witte made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Club de la Serpiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Velasco to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Albert Nae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guaberto Micael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Vizitiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes ZION got a freekick which was hit by Mugurel Suşu. Guaberto Micael came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by ZION's Han Lin Zhen. But to his dismay, Han Lin Zhen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Club de la Serpiente's Geronimo Romero quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugon Figlewski, made in the 61st minute of the game. Roy De Witte kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Han Lin Zhen in the 71st minute of play forced Club de la Serpiente's goalkeeper Guaberto Micael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Club de la Serpiente's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Vizitiu came free, but Guaberto Micael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaberto Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Vizitiu in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Club de la Serpiente getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Geronimo Romero hit a great ball. Guaberto Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Han Lin Zhen in the 77th minute of play. Guaberto Micael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Han Lin Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Club de la Serpiente getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Eloy Velasco hit a great ball. If Roy De Witte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ZION fully deserved thier win.
