Tim Johnstone made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Spyros Zacharioudakis sent off a good shot on target. After 6 played minutes The Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Frankie Brookes. 10 minutes into the match, Carl Downes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk. Raimond Lenk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 15 minutes, Constantino Idacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piratas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Idacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carl Downes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Downes in the 20th minute of play forced Piratas FC's goalkeeper Raimond Lenk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimond Lenk came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by The Tigers's Owen Noble. But to his dismay, Owen Noble quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tyrone Meehan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Raimond Lenk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantino Idacio took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tim Johnstone. Tim Johnstone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Tyrone Meehan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carl Downes in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimond Lenk saved Piratas FC from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Rolado in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tim Johnstone saved The Tigers from getting behind. In the 42nd minute of the match Piratas FC got a corner. The Tigers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roman Steven ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Piratas FC's Roman Steven to fire away a dangerous shot which Tim Johnstone despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When The Tigers's Carl Downes in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Piratas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Tim Johnstone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Idacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Rolado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tim Johnstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Rolado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When The Tigers's Carl Downes in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carl Downes in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimond Lenk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the match, The Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Idacio came free, but Tim Johnstone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Carl Downes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimond Lenk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tyrone Meehan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Raimond Lenk made a huge save. A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cleto Onofre hit a great ball. Raimond Lenk made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Carl Downes sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the game, Rio Blewitt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Tigers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piratas FC the free kick. After 79 played minutes The Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Rio Blewitt. In the 83rd minute Piratas FC were awarded a corner. Roman Steven went to the cornerflag to take it. Raimond Lenk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Downes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimond Lenk had great luck who in the 85thth minute grab hold of the ball when Carl Downes from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 86th minute Angelo Rolado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Johnstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tim Johnstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Rolado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Owen Noble could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Raimond Lenk made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's goalkeeper Raimond Lenk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Phil Clarke. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carl Downes in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimond Lenk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. The Tigers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
