The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Esquirla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdellatif Benkhirane came free, but Orvar Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marrakech FC's Sebastião Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Specht in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match, Alan Mota got a very nice opportunity to score, but Orvar Larsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Esquirla FC were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Marrakech FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dedé van Beek took the corner. The corner led Esquirla FC's Dedé van Beek to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebastião Salgado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sebastião Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Specht in the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th minute Benjamin Specht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdellatif Benkhirane was the one to do the kick off. In the 75th minute Arlo Arruta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esquirla FC made a substitution. Lukas Caers replaced Arlo Arruta. Marrakech FC's Du Jie Han was substituted for Alan Mota. Esquirla FC's Lukas Caers got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
