When Esquirla FC's Arlo Arruta in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ruquense FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Ruquense FC booed when Esquirla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Fernandez in the 10th minute of play forced Esquirla FC's goalkeeper Orvar Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Bide's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orvar Larsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, Esquirla FC's Orvar Larsson got control of the ball when Basilio Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Fernandez in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orvar Larsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlo Arruta in the 20th minute of play forced Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Ruquense FC's Remigio Quirze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orvar Larsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Basilio Fernandez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Orvar Larsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arlo Arruta took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised François-Xavier Dionnet. François-Xavier Dionnet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Esquirla FC's Dedé van Beek quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adolfo Joseph, made in the 44th minute of the game. François-Xavier Dionnet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlo Arruta in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arlo Arruta was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Arlo Arruta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François-Xavier Dionnet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes in the game, Arlo Arruta fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without François-Xavier Dionnet having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Esquirla FC's Arlo Arruta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of François-Xavier Dionnet. That made the score 1-3 after 56 minutes of play. In the 61st minute, Arlo Arruta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 67 minutes of play, Esquirla FC's Arlo Arruta made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. François-Xavier Dionnet was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Ruquense FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Adolfo Joseph hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Esquirla FC's Dedé van Beek got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match Leopoldo Tonio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orvar Larsson skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Esquirla FC booed when Ruquense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Lehen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arlo Arruta. In the 78th play minute Arlo Arruta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised François-Xavier Dionnet. 1-5. Esquirla FC made a substitution. Lukas Caers replaced Arlo Arruta. The supporters of Ruquense FC booed when Esquirla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the final whistle went the supporters of Esquirla FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ruquense FC side.
