Constantino Idacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Paly having to interfere. Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tory Pryor in the 65th minute of play. FC Wil 1900's Pirmin Jäggi got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the game, FC Wil 1900's Tory Pryor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimond Lenk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 94th minute, FC Wil 1900's Téo Rosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raimond Lenk. Raimond Lenk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. FC Wil 1900 played a much better game than Piratas FC and deserved their victory. The Piratas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
