In the 10thth minute of the game Arlo Arruta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute André Roriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Caes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignatius Casasola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlo Arruta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian Caes made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Torcato Rebocho sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st match minute, Esquirla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yvan Maes to maneuver through the defense. When Esquirla FC's Arlo Arruta in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ignatius Casasola was a little too slow when Arlo Arruta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-2. 55 minutes into the match, Esquirla FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Roriz came free, but Florian Caes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Esquirla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Specht to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Rebocho to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Bernard Swartenbroekx took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Ignatius Casasola to make any attempt to save it. Garanhão do SUL's Angel Edorta was substituted for Salvador Lousada. Florian Caes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Leizarraga in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Tim Van Brussel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Torcato Rebocho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Caes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Arlo Arruta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esquirla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Esquirla FC's Lukas Caers was substituted for Arlo Arruta. In the 85th minute, Esquirla FC's Yvan Maes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Yvan Maes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Esquirla FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Yvan Maes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Esquirla FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! After 90th play minutes Lukas Caers shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Ignatius Casasola and just under the crossbar into goal. After 95 played minutes Esquirla FC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Van Aerschot. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esquirla FC's goalkeeper Florian Caes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Esquirla FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
