Abdellatif Benkhirane succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. When Abdellatif Benkhirane came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Marrakech FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdellatif Benkhirane couldn't finish the play. Tahsin Akbel made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Nacer Khlifi sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Iwaszko to make the kick off. The supporters of GRİ TAKIM booed when Marrakech FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vuyani Tshabalala didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Marrakech FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
