With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xu Zheng Zhou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to COLLEGNO F.C. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Oliver Giroud hit a great ball. Joris De Raeve struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Xu Zheng Zhou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limburg United. 18 minutes into the game, Limburg United's Brend Vanden Driessche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xu Zheng Zhou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 27 minutes into the match, COLLEGNO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joris De Raeve came free, but Xu Zheng Zhou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Joris De Raeve put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Xu Zheng Zhou. Thanks to some nice moves Oliver Giroud could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Sean Van Dijck however easily saved by the left post. Xu Zheng Zhou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joris De Raeve, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Limburg United got a corner. COLLEGNO F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Orellana ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Mickael den Pelsmaeker got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Xu Zheng Zhou quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half Limburg United were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver Giroud made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Fredrik Terwenhout who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but COLLEGNO F.C.'s Xu Zheng Zhou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 56 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Brend Vanden Driessche. Xu Zheng Zhou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Terwenhout, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 92 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Joris De Raeve. Xu Zheng Zhou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joris De Raeve in the 96th minute. Limburg United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabian Orellana in the 98th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Mickael den Pelsmaeker heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the match was over Limburg United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than COLLEGNO F.C. throughout the match.
