With a left leg 俞锋烽 saved NEWELL´S OLD BOYS from getting behind. 俞锋烽 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris De Raeve in the 11th minute of play. If Joris De Raeve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brend Vanden Driessche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 20 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Anios Karaoulanis. Hermengildo Cordeara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joris De Raeve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 俞锋烽 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joris De Raeve in the 27th minute of the match. Joris De Raeve succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Joris De Raeve sped through NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 俞锋烽. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermengildo Cordeara got free with Sean Van Dijck in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fredrik Terwenhout might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 俞锋烽. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Terwenhout ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute, Joris De Raeve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Limburg United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The supporters of NEWELL´S OLD BOYS booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Abar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Joris De Raeve could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but 俞锋烽 made a huge save. 俞锋烽 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Terwenhout, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute.
