Kujawiak Włocławek's Julian Zakrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teymur Alşanov in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Xu Xi Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Zakrzewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Kujawiak Włocławek's Natalio Evis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Natalio Evis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kujawiak Włocławek protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Natalio Evis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for RED STAR FC.. Genaro Buendia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Julian Zakrzewski. 0-1. Raphaël Félicité could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Brais Morales made a huge save. Brais Morales was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Raphaël Félicité capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raphaël Félicité really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xu Xi Peng in the 24th minute of play forced Kujawiak Włocławek's goalkeeper Julian Zakrzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Zakrzewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the RED STAR FC. defense, Oscar Verstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brais Morales. The RED STAR FC. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brais Morales should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Verstraeten was the one to do the kick off. Teymur Alşanov kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 96thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Kujawiak Włocławek's keeper Julian Zakrzewski was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged.
