In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Severo Elequemedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Severo Elequemedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lúcio Munhoz. In the 24th match minute, Brazil Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Senna to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Clinton Rushing in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Brazil Academy's Beto Xavier. If Rafael Santos Borré had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Alejo Loren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Maximiliano Omar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severo Elequemedo was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. In the 46th minute Ruhi Ongay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Omar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severo Elequemedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the A.D Atlético Villa Gesell defense, Lúcio Munhoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severo Elequemedo. The A.D Atlético Villa Gesell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severo Elequemedo should have stopped the shot. After 66 minutes of play, Brazil Academy's Lúcio Munhoz made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severo Elequemedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maximiliano Omar took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severo Elequemedo. Severo Elequemedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Dino Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dino Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Brazil Academy's Dino Senna got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Rafael Santos Borré got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximiliano Omar in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Elequemedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Brazil Academy's Maximiliano Omar in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalie prevented a goal. The throw-in from Clinton Rushing in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Brazil Academy's Beto Xavier. The supporters of A.D Atlético Villa Gesell booed when Brazil Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Rael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximiliano Omar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Severo Elequemedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of A.D Atlético Villa Gesell booed when Brazil Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position.
