Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Kacper Tobiáš had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrão de Amorim. In the 21st minute, Pedrão de Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Kacper Tobiáš. F.C. Sosnowiec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of SoS FC booed when F.C. Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Massem Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Iwan Cempa fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Sosnowiec's protests and gave Iwan Cempa a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes F.C. Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Cempa. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edin Džeko was the one to do the kick off. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SoS FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while F.C. Sosnowiec had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
