Liu Zhou Feng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yan Sha Yin's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Los Galacticos's goal looked a bit too open when Cüneyd Kutkan came free, but Liu Zhou Feng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xiao Jian Bo took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şener Irmak. Şener Irmak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Şener Irmak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Aimar in the 20th minute of the match. Şener Irmak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xiao Jian Bo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Laboon SK's Müslüm Gencer seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Müslüm Gencer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Laboon SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Müslüm Gencer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 25 minutes into the game, one of Laboon SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Los Galacticos. Xie Yue Chao stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Şener Irmak. 0-2. In the 29th minute Ruben Le shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şener Irmak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Los Galacticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meng Zhan Yang to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Laboon SK's Yan Sha Yin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Liu Zhou Feng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Los Galacticos's Liu Zhou Feng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Los Galacticos from getting a goal against them. Yan Sha Yins short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Liu Zhou Feng to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 40 minutes into the match, Laboon SK's goal looked a bit too open when Xie Yue Chao came free, but Şener Irmak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şener Irmak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xie Yue Chao, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Yan Sha Yin made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Sha Yin in the 51st minute of play forced Los Galacticos's goalkeeper Liu Zhou Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gökdeniz Karadeniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Şener Irmak managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Los Galacticos's Xie Yue Chao fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A nice corner shot did that Xie Yue Chao got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Şener Irmak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 61st minute, Los Galacticos's Xie Yue Chao ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Şener Irmak. Şener Irmak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. In the 65th minute, Xie Yue Chao made a precise shot to the right of Şener Irmak. Laboon SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. A collision led to Los Galacticos getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ruben Le hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Yan Sha Yin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Liu Zhou Feng. Los Galacticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yan Sha Yin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Ren Ming Song kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Gökdeniz Karadeniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şener Irmak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute Ruben Le shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şener Irmak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When İrfan Genç came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Laboon SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İrfan Genç couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Ruben Le ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şener Irmak was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. 91 minutes into the game, Xie Yue Chao threw the ball into play from the sideline. Laboon SK's İrfan Genç quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 91 minutes, Ren Ming Song mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Galacticos and the Laboon SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Laboon SK booed when Los Galacticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ren Ming Song didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Los Galacticos's Xiao Jian Bo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When Yan Sha Yin came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Laboon SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yan Sha Yin couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Galacticos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
