In the 7th minute of the match Cup2 got a corner. Club Sportivo Italiano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mladen Pashov ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Club Sportivo Italiano getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Sol Campbell hit a great ball. Téo Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Reynaldo Stephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valeri Hadzhisotirov hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Pes in the 19th minute of play forced Cup2's goalkeeper Eliseo Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Club Sportivo Italiano's Evelio Pes in the 20th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Eliseo Moreno was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Cup2 through an amazing save. Reynaldo Stephen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valeri Hadzhisotirov's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Eliseo Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Pes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Evelio Pes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseo Moreno was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Reynaldo Stephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Mello in the 33rd minute of play. Theo Hayles took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseo Moreno. Eliseo Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Theo Hayles's late challenge caught a Cup2's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theo Hayles helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Sportivo Italiano getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Theo Hayles hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Evelio Pes sped through Cup2's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eliseo Moreno. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Téo Mello was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Cesar Roderigo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cup2's Aleandro Ortiz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 54th minute Evelio Pes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Evelio Pes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseo Moreno was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. If Evelio Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evelio Pes struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Eliseo Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sportivo Italiano. In the 71st match minute, Cup2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeri Hadzhisotirov to maneuver through the defense. Armando Urbes kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Reynaldo Stephen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mladen Pashov. Club Sportivo Italiano's Reynaldo Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Mello in the 77th minute of play. Eliseo Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Pes, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Evelio Pes notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cup2's Eliseo Moreno. Eliseo Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cup2's Téo Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute of the match, Aleko Merdzhanov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Reynaldo Stephen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 90 minutes, Theo Hayles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sportivo Italiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theo Hayles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valeri Hadzhisotirov during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Club Sportivo Italiano walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
