Spectators: 7537 (Terracing: 5654, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Paulo Branco kicked off to start the match. Gildo Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Varglien in the 6th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Bernardino Vedillo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gildo Simões to make any attempt to save it. Ettore Varglien took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gildo Simões. Gildo Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Gildo Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Varglien in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of PICCOLE PESTI booed when Carrapichel - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Gildo Simões got control of the ball when Ettore Varglien tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Ettore Varglien recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gildo Simões. Ettore Varglien showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Ettore Varglien was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. PICCOLE PESTI's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 33rd minute, PICCOLE PESTI's Ettore Varglien ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gildo Simões. Gildo Simões yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Gildo Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Carrapichel - FDFDF from getting a goal against them. Gildo Simões made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Ettore Varglien sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute Ettore Varglien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Fábio Umrihin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardino Vedillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ettore Varglien made a precise shot to the right of Gildo Simões. Carrapichel - FDFDF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 55th minute Ettore Varglien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gildo Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Varglien in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Carrapichel - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Vedillo came free, but Gildo Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The PICCOLE PESTI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Ettore Varglien scored 8-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gildo Simões, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Bernardino Vedillo notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Carrapichel - FDFDF's Gildo Simões. Gildo Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's Per Lidman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gildo Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute Per Lidman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Lidman in the 96th minute of play forced Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalkeeper Gildo Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PICCOLE PESTI had played much better football throughout.
